Intestinal and anorectal diseases

During the proctological examination, we will check the anal area, the anal canal, and the lower part of the rectum. I want to emphasize that it is completely normal to feel a bit nervous before the examination. However, I will proceed very carefully and gently to ensure that you feel as comfortable as possible.

It is common for patients to feel anxious before the examination, but many report afterwards that it was not as bad as they had feared.

No special preparation is required for this examination. Preparation is only necessary if we need to examine higher parts of the bowel.

Many complaints such as hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anal fistulas, or incontinence can cause significant distress. Often, these issues can be treated with simple, non-surgical methods. In some cases, surgery may be necessary, but we always strive to find a solution that reduces or even completely relieves your discomfort.
